Early Life and College :
Walker Dwain’s native place is Lawrenceville, Georgia. Zimmerman played two seasons in college with the Furman Paladins . After that signing a Generation Adidas deal with Major League Soccer. He was then selected in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by FC Dallas as the 7th overall pick.
Professional Career :
Because of Injuries Walker dwain got trouble initially for playing.But he overcame from Injuries and became a regular starter Player in 2016.Walker made 38 starts as FC Dallas won the Supporters “Shield and U.S Open Cup and completed the hattrick.
In December 2017, he moved to Los Angeles FC, an expansion team, Dwain helped the team win the Supporters Shield in 2019. Walker was also Selected for the MLS Best XI and MLS All-Star teams.
In February 2020, Walker was then moved to Nashville SC, another expansion team. With Nashville SC, Walker Dwain won Defender of the Year awards in 2020 and 2021.

Zimmerman came via the youth academy at Gwinnett Soccer Association in Lilburn, Georgia, His mentor Atlanta Silverbacks and Charleston Batter Manager Nuno Piteira who Mentored him. Walker also participated in soccer at Brookwood High School. Daniel Klinect, his coach, has polished him as a player.
Career In University:
In 2011 & 2012 Walker also played College Soccer at Furman University . He was nominated in 2011 for First Team All- Conference, Southern Conference Freshman of the Year and National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division . He was also named to the Men’s All-America Second Team in 2012.
Career moving in National Team:
FC Dallas selected Zimmerman in the first round of the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. He made his professional debut on May 11, 2013, as a late substitution in a 2–1 victory against D.C. United.
In the 2019 season, Zimmerman was also an assistant coach for the UCLA Bruins men’s soccer program.
In Starting 2020 , Walker was traded to Major League soccer expansion club NASHVILLE SC in exchange for $1.25 M in General Allocation Money and a 2020 international roster spot.
Walker Scored the first goal in Nashville SC history on 29 Feb 2020.
Nashville cleared they had signed Walker to a contract extension till 2025. This made him a Designated Player on their roster and also the fourth American defender to sign to a DP deal in League history.
